The Plain Doll

Canonpoint: After the "Childhood's Beginning" ending.
Age: Unknown. Probably 40-80 Years old.
Wish: “I wish that we would serve my beloved Hunter for eternity, so that we might make the world a safer place for them to grow."
Result: Her use of the word "we" had been intended to force Kyuubey into serving the Doll alongside her. Predictably, though, Kyuubey interpreted her wish differently than she had intended. The end result was that the Plain Doll and her Messengers' existences were bound entirely to the life of the hunter who had been transformed into an infant Great One. So long as it lives, so will the Doll and the Messengers.
Weapon: Rakuyo , a twinblade that can separate itself into a saber and a dagger, and then reconnect itself.
Outfit The Hunter's set.

Powers

» Immunity to Mental Influence (passive): - The Doll is an eternal servant to the Hunter who became a Great One. As such, she's immune to mind control and any ability that might directly effect how she thinks and feels. For example, she could not be magically made to do something she does not want to do, and siren-song like abilities will not work on her.

However, she has a pretty subservient personality so for the most part she will do what's asked of her regardless of what it is. It's also worth noting that she's not immune to being tricked, so illusions and abilities of a similar vein will still affect her as long as they don't directly influence her thoughts and feelings.

» The Messengers - The Plain Doll has the ability to summon the tiny creatures known as The Messengers. Despite their grotesque, pale appearance, they're actually quite friendly and they are very eager to help.

The Doll can summon up to 24 of these little guys at a time. When a Messenger is summoned, it emerges upward out of any non-living material that the Doll might wish them to appear on (for example, a stone surface or a wooden floor would be acceptable places to emerge, but they couldn't jump out of a person's flesh or the bark of a tree).

When working together, the combined strength of all the Messengers is equal to that of roughly 4 adult human beings - at least, in terms of lifting/pushing/pulling. As far as combat goes, their tiny fists are very weak and their petite bodies are very frail. While it's difficult (albeit not impossible) to actually kill a Messenger, it doesn't take much at all to injure one to the point that it disappears back into whatever realm they come from (and will be unable to reemerge for several hours afterward).

In addition to all this, the Plain Doll's soul gem will darken anytime a Messenger suffers an injury or is killed.

» Inanimation (passive): - To put it simply, the Doll now requires a certain amount of insight into the supernatural world in order to be perceived as living/moving/talking. This insight can either come from characters' experiences with the supernatural in their own world, or from from experiencing an significant event in game (ie any sort of mod-run event, a player character turning into a nightmare, etc). Just making a wish on Kyuubey doesn't count.

To anyone with no insight/experience with the supernatural, the Doll is essentially the same, except she appears as a lifeless (but beautifully crafted) life-sized doll.

Killing this character: Ask first, of course, but I'm not inherently opposed to the idea.
Using telepathy/mind reading abilities on this character: Telepathy is fine, but ICly one of the Doll's abilities prevents her from being directly mind controlled.
